Community Support Initiative

The Recovery & Community Support Initiative is a year-round effort by Sand Stew Inc. to provide practical assistance to sober living homes, halfway houses, and recovery programs in need. Funded through donations, fundraising efforts, and proceeds from Sober in the Sun, this initiative allows us to respond directly to real-world needs within the recovery community — helping remove barriers, restore dignity, and strengthen the path forward.

In the past, we have provided winter jackets, hats, and gloves for residents. We have also supplied new bedding including sheets and blankets to improve comfort and dignity within residential settings. Every effort is focused on removing barriers, restoring dignity, and strengthening the path forward in recovery. 

 If your program is in need of assistance, we invite you to submit a request for support by completing the application below. All applications are reviewed at our monthly Board of Directors meeting, and you will be notified following the Board’s decision.
